Cyclo-Mauricie presents the 5th Défi Vélo Mag de Shawinigan in the beautiful Mauricie National Park : the biggest cyclo-sport event in Canada. This is the only event of its kind in Canada that’s held in an area that is completely closed to traffic. French magazine “Le Cycle” named the Défi Vélo Mag one of the 40 best cyclosports events in the world. It also received the “Parks Canada Award of Excellence”. Also scheduled this year are the Défi Montagne Desjardins, the Défi 5/10 Boomerang, and the Triathlon Géo Plein Air. New this year, the Défi Énergie Shawinigan à Vélo in the heart of Downtown Shaw inigan.
