The Cégep de Trois-Rivières Observatory opens its doors to the public during the summer. Let our guides help you observe and interpret the sky on our specially arranged terrace. Then look into the 40 cm telescope, which has been newly automated and equipped with a high defi nition camera to observe Saturn and its rings, the moon, nebulae, star clusters and galaxies. In case of bad weather, come inside and discover new worlds by attending multimedia projections on black holes, supernovas, white dwarfs and much more. Free parking.
Open: from June 25 to August 30, 2014, 8 PM to 11:45 PM, Tuesday to Saturday. Admission: $10 for adults, $2 for children (14 and under) and $7 for high school and CEGEP students. Reservations required. Group activities are also available on request.
