Trois-Rivières, a surprising destination !

With its art and history, Trois-Rivières now has a remarkable number of interesting and unusual curiosities for its size. Take downtown for example: it has won international recognition for its original activities and listed historic neighbourhood where a great deal of Quebec’s history can be discovered. And then there’s the harbour park which offers an unobstructed view of the river. These two sites alone offer tourists the prospect of pleasant strolls and unexpected but agreeable encounters.

Trois-Rivières is also home to many Parisian-style cafés, great boutiques and restaurants, cosy inns and hotels, writers’ bars, artists’ workshops, bold museums and national historic sites that are nestled in the heart of the city. Moderation isn’t advised for these interesting and unusual sites.
