The Mauricie National Park is a representative sample of the southern Laurentians. Camping, canoe-camping and oTENTik tents provide access to 536 km2 of lakes and forests. Accommodations are available at two heritage lodges that date back to the era of private hunting and fishing clubs. The park has cycling, skiing, hiking and portage trails. Discovery activities teach visitors how to understand and appreciate the park natural and cultural resources. The information and interpretation centre at Saint-Jean-des-Piles has an interactive exhibit and a 3D slide show and the naturalists provide a wide array of activities.
